Dr. Raj Thamotheram
Raj is the Founder and Co-chair of the think tank Preventable Surprises and an acknowledged pioneer in the field of responsible investing.
He is an expert in collaborative engagement and in the past has led the responsible investment strategy at AXA Investment Managers and the Universities Superannuation Scheme (USS).
Victoria joined the Investor Relations (IR) team of Repsol, one of the leading oil & gas companies in Europe, in 2009 where as Deputy Head of IR she pioneered Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) communication with institutional investors.
During that time, Victoria coordinated a number of key internal corporate responsibility communication and evaluation projects while leading her company’s external communication and engagement activities with responsible investors.
Repsol was voted Best-in-Class for ESG communication by institutional investors and was rated in the top 3 across all sectors by the prestigious annual Extel investor survey in 2015.
Prior to joining the IR team, Victoria gained extensive technical, financial and people management expertise as a Planning and Control manager in Bolivia, Brazil and the US at the same firm.
Victoria has presented on Corporate ESG Communication at several high-profile forums and has been a member of the editorial team at IR Magazine, the leading publication for Investor Relations professionals.
Mayur currently heads the cross-content corporate-action business-policy process at Thomson Reuters and has led several critical business-resilience projects for the organization such the preparation for the Brexit vote in 2016.
Mayur has 30+ years of experience in the Financial Data Industry including ESG Data Management and its use within the financial markets. His areas of expertise include the management and delivery of market data solutions in collaboration with technology, business and end users. He has also played a pivotal role in the automation of structured and unstructured data to help improve data management processes. In addition, Mayur has managed the provision of real-time information to support financial-data users to make faster and better-informed decisions.
Mayur has been a long-standing member of the Trustee of the Thomson Reuters UK Pension Scheme.
Dr. Nelson Sam
Nelson is an expert on risk management, climate risk, big data and technology.
He was a President & COO at Ark Workplace Risk and Helix. Prior to that role, he headed Point Carbon, the Commodities & Energy Advisory Services at Thomson Reuters and held senior analyst roles at Ernst and Young and McKinsey.
